Had some good laps in the pool become the rainy weather kicks in. I was panting and looking at others swim, when a person just came up and said ” you know, you should try to swim continously”. I was surprised at the sudden remark, but did heed his advice and went on 6 laps subsequently. Next swim would be 10 laps no stop!
There’s hardly any Singaporeans left that are so friendly to strike a conversation with a stranger. Perhaps that is why i was even more surprised when he came over to give me more tips about swimming. A little too random was the offer to drop me home on his way elsewhere.
And a good swim takes your mind off everything. I just hope there’ll be brighter sun the next time around!
